Junior Boys' Volleyball hosted tournament this past Saturday.
The Junior Boys' volleyball team hosted a tournament at home this past
Saturday. They had some tough competition including Blenheim, Pain Court,
Pines midgets, CKSS midgets, and Lambton-Kent. Our boys took a win off ESPC and
played some exciting games against the CK midgets winning the split with
their scores being 26-27 and 25-23. But then they started to have some
difficulty. The small team struggled with having a player injured and another
player having to leave early. The played hard and learned a lot.
In the end Blenheim won in an exciting finals against Lambton Kent. With scores going to 33-31 in the first game. CK and UCC played for Consolation Finals and they pushed it to a 3rd game with CK winning 18-16 in the third game. Very close exciting games in both finals.
Our boys played really well in league play last week. They won against Lambton-Kent with scores 25-23 and 26-24. They split with Blenheim 13-25 and 25-21. They also played exhibition games against Tilbury and lost 25-19 and 25-21. So their current record in the league is 3 wins and 1 loss.
