As was announced the team has to drop out of the local league but do plan on participating in 2 tournaments.
Practices this week are Monday and Wednesday at 3:30.  They travel to Tilbury for a tournament on Friday.  Thanks to Coach Roger, Peggy Watson, and Trish Douma for offering to drive.
The team will also be travelling to the Oakville/Hamilton area on May 8-9 for the Christian Schools tournament.  They have Coach Roger and Joash Roffel driving/chaperoning but are in desperate need for one or two more drivers.  They will be staying at Redeemer College.  We can have females drive as well as because the girls' team will be staying in the same location.  Please consider helping out so that arrangements can be finalized.  Get in touch with Coach Roger ASAP.  It's been a difficult season with commitment issues so please help Coach Roger out with driving (cell 519-365-4788).  Thanks.

Girls' Soccer:
Practice Tuesday morning and Thursday after school they will have an exhibition game against JMSS.  They will travel to Redeemer on May 8-9 and are also desperately looking for one more female chaperone and driver.  Please help out.  This is a fun tournament for the girls and all the games occur at Redeemer where they will be staying.  Please get in touch with Coach Brian, Coach Karen or Sharon Smith ASAP.  Thanks.

Badminton:
The Senior and Junior team had a fun time travelling to Brock University last weekend. While no one made it in the top 2 of their divisions to move on, it was a positive weekend filled with lots of badminton and bonding.  Thanks to coaches Dale, Gareth, and to the parent drivers/chaperones!  Players please wash your shirts and return them to Sharon Smith.

Boys' Soccer Update... Wednesday, April 22, 2015

Unfortunately the Boys’ Soccer team is folding from LK league play due to lack of committed players.  This has been a tough and disappointing decision for those wanting to play and the coaches.
However, they are committed to playing in the two tournaments but need some help with drivers/chaperones:
  1.         Need for drivers for Tilbury on Friday, May 1: in the morning to Tilbury and in the pm pick up from Tilbury.  As of now, Coach Roger has no coaches or volunteers to help him with this.
  2.          Need for drivers/chaperones for the Christian Schools Tournament on May 8 and 9.  As of now Coach Roger has no coaches or volunteers to help.  This tournament is in the Burlington/Oakville area and the team will be staying at Redeemer College University.
Please call or text Coach Roger’s cell 519 365-4788 as soon as possible to ensure that they have the drivers necessary.  Thank you.

Last week the Badminton teams played in LKSSAA South (which in previous years was called "Kent Finals"). The Senior team had Victoria Koomans earning 5th place in Girls' Singles and Alex Sluys and Luke Wiersma earning 6th place in Boys' Doubles. Practices this week are Monday 3:30-5pm, Wednesday 5-6:30, and Thursday 3:30-5 pm.

The Junior Badminton team played in LKSSAA South on Thursday last week and had Ainsley McNamara and Abby Sluys coming in first place in Girls’ Doubles and Nathaniel Dam and Seth Roffel in third place for Boys’ Doubles.  The next step is LKSSAA in Petrolia on Friday, April 17th.  Practices this week are Tuesday and Wednesday 3:30-5pm and Thursday 5-6:30.

Track and Field – outside practices Monday, Wednesday and Friday 3:30-5 pm unless otherwise directed by Coach Mac or Coach Brooks.

High Jump practice in gym Monday and Wednesday 6:30-8 pm with Mr. Thompson.

Girls’ Soccer – we have a team preparing for the Christian Schools Tournament on May 8&9 and is being coached by Brian Roffel and Karen Koomans.  First practice is this week Thursday after school.

Boys’ Soccer – after today's meeting it was decided that we could play in the local league. Coach Roger asked players to commit to games that they could attend and we will have enough players. Thanks to all those supporting the team! Practice today at 3:30.  First game of the league will be here at 4 o'clock against LKCS and on Friday the 17th at 5:30 pm in PainCourt against ESPC.
