Thank you to all our Track coaches: Patrick McNamara, Rosemary Koomans, Don Thompson and Jessica Brooks.  A big nod to Mr. Derek Quigley of CKSS for his coaching of all our jumping athletes!

Congratulations to Daniel Grootenboer and Sarah Brouwer who were CCHS' nominees for the Dr. Jack Parry award!

Also, any students who still have uniforms… BRING THEM IN THIS WEEK!  Thank you.

This Week at a Glance... Monday, June 1, 2015

Congratulations to the Regional OFSAA Track and Field Athletes!  They had tough competition and performed great.  Two of our athletes qualified for the OFSAA Championship in Toronto at the end of this week.  Amy Koomans jumped 1.59 m in the high jump to take 3rd place.  Carolyn Prins jumped 11.06 m to win the triple jump and 5.12 m to place 3rd in long jump.  Fantastic jumps!
Justin McNamara ran a tough race in steeple chase.  Nate Dam had shaved a full second off his personal best in 100 m hurdle race -- that is a huge achievement.  Adeleene Thompson jumped great in high jump ... 1.4 m.  Fantastic job and great teamwork and support of each other!
