Congratulations to the Junior Girls' Volleyball team who played very well on Friday at the CKSS Midget/Junior A tournament. They made it to the finals and pushed Blenheim to three games but lost in the 3rd. The highlight was playing as a team and "things clicking". Nicely done ladies!
This week league games are at LKCS (Dresden). Games start at 4:30 with warm ups at 4. This is the last of our league play before playoffs in February. Practices are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:30-5 pm.
The Senior Girls' Volleyball team did not end up going to Dresden on Friday because the school had no heat so unfortunately the tournament was cancelled. However, they did play league games last Wednesday (with 6 players) and won 5 of the 6 games. They are currently in 3rd place. This week the have league games on Wednesday in Ridgetown... games start at 4:30 pm. Practices this week are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 3:30-5 pm. They go to Wallaceburg for a tournament on Friday.
The Boys' Basketball team played in Tilbury last week and won 51-36. They also hosted SFX and won 43-21. They are currently in 3rd place. This week they travel to ESPC (PainCourt) on Tuesday to play at 5:30 pm. Practices are Monday and Thursday 5-6:30; Wednesday 3:30-5 pm.
There are no practices or games during exam week. All teams will start up again on Wednesday, January 28th.
