The track team competed at SWOSSAA yesterday at the University of Windsor. It was tough competition but we had some great performances and personal bests by Victoria Koomans in the Javelin and Discus, by Ainsley McNamara in the 3000m and Rachel Hoekstra in the 3000m.
Amy Koomans was again a top performer finishing 2nd in the Jr girls high jump with a personal best 1.53 m jump.
Overall Amy Koomans qualified in 3 events for the OFSAA West Regional meet in Windsor next week and she placed in the top 3 in the High jump, triple jump and the long jump. Krissy Brooks qualified in the long jump and the triple jump and Kyle Maerz in the 2000m steeple chase. Fantastic job everyone.
