Ainsley McNamara was first. She ran hard in the 4km race and did great! After placing 10th in last week’s LKSSAA meet she ran big and placed 10th in the SWOSSAA championship. The top 2 teams and the next 4 individuals qualify for the OFSAA Championship in Waterloo. McNamara finished as the 5th individual. Great job!
Justin McNamara, Dan Grootenboer and Stewart Watson also
ran great in the senior boys’ race. They ran 7km over grass and trails.
Justin ran excellent placing 9th overall and just missing a trip to
OFSAA, Dan ran a personal best finishing15th, and Stewart ran hard with a
season/personal best.
Fantastic running and a great cap to the season. We
can all be very proud of them. Way to go
team from Coach Mac.

We are getting down to the wire and still have NO Basketball
coach for our high school boys’ team. Their season starts mid-November
and pretty soon we will have to declare whether we have a team or not. At
this point, we have to say “no” but are really, really hoping for help in
finding a coach. Please if you have basketball background… we need
you! Please contact Sharon Smith at the school for more information:
