This Week at a Glance... Sept 30, 2014

Kaden VanHelden represented CCHS at SWOSSAA Golf yesterday. He played really well with the exception of a few holes caused him some grief. Overall, not the score he was hoping for but had a great experience and enjoyed playing alongside the eventual winner of the day. Many thanks to Coach Scott Saunders for his efforts and time this season!

Girls' Basketball -- while they had a the buzzer beater win last Tuesday against LKCS (Dresden), they struggled in the game on Thursday against RDHS (Ridgetown) with the final score being 29-14. This week they host 2 games at 5:30 pm: first one is on Tuesday against the #2 team, BDHS (Blenheim) and on Thursday against SFX (St. Francois Xavier). Practice on Wednesday after boys' volleyball at 6:30(ish) - 8 pm and hopefully an exhibition game at home on Friday after school.

 

 

 

 

Boys' Volleyball -- their league games start this week. They will be hosting Blenheim, Pain Court, and Tilbury on Wednesday with games starting at 4:30 pm. Practices are on Tuesday and Thursday 3:30-5 pm and a tournament on Friday at LKCS (Dresden).

Cross Country will travel to Orwell on Thursday for a meet. Practices continue M, W, F at 3:30.

Athletic Council has been busy already planning High School Intramurals and yesterday a few of them ran a soccer clinic for Grades 3, 4, 5.
